Christian Light Science Curriculum Review – Elementary

This Christian Light Science Curriculum consists of 10 workbooks (Light Units) and an answer key set. Introduced in 1988, it is currently undergoing is first updates since publication. This curriculum is simple, easy to read, and easily followed for homeschool. It works well with minimal teacher instruction or for independent study with reading students. The answer key set is necessary, as it provides test answers. Only the updated grade levels (Sunrise edition) include a teacher’s guide. This curriculum covers all the science topics but with limited detail and moderate hands-on learning. We do not recommend it for students who enjoy science or want a rich hands-on learning experience. This curriculum presents a Christian creationist worldview.
