Alcohol Lamp & Lab Burner Comparison Chart

Alcohol Lamp & Stand Set This set includes a metal alcohol lamp with wickless burner tip and a metal stand to hold beakers, flasks, etc. The lamp burns denatured alcohol or ethyl alcohol.
Wickless Alcohol Lamp Burner This alcohol lamp has a single wickless burner tip. The chrome-plated steel lamp is sturdy and spill-resistant. It burns denatured alcohol or ethyl alcohol, which is readily available at hardware stores. (Look in the paint section.) 90 ml tank.
Glass Alcohol Lamp A traditional alcohol lamp with glass tank and fiber wick. This lamp burns denatured alcohol or ethyl alcohol, which is readily available at hardware stores. (Look in the paint section.) 120ml tank.
Portable Micro Lab Burner This burner is easy to use, and designed with safety in mind.  It holds 40 g of butane, which burns for 1-2 hours.  It boils a 250 ml beaker of water in about two minutes.  Use instead of a bunsen burner or hot plate.
Alcohol Lamp Stand Strong wire frame with wire gauze top. 4.5″ tall. Use to hold beakers and flasks over an alcohol lamp.
Tripod Stand This stand is used to support glassware over a burner. 3″ diameter support ring with 6″ legs.
