Desert Life Worksheet

What lives in a desert? Use this Desert Life Worksheet to encourage imagination as well as scientific thought about desert life.

Provide plain white paper and drawing utensils and let kids draw pictures of animals they think would live in a desert. Then help them cut and paste their artwork onto the printed worksheet to show which animals hide underground during the day and are active at night. They may also want to include plants, sand dunes, rocks, the sun, moon, etc.

You can find Science Lessons and science projects about deserts here.
