Insect Anatomy Worksheet

Help kids review what makes an insect an insect with this two part Insect Anatomy Worksheet.

In the top part they will label the parts of an ant with the words listed below the picture; in the second part they will look at pictures of four different non-insect ‘bugs’ and decide which body parts prove that they are not insects.

This can be used as a quiz after an insect study, or during your study to keep kids interested. For tips on teaching elementary-aged students about insects and bugs, visit our Learn About Bugs and Insect Investigations Science Lesson pages.
